Raindrop Reflections

s1-vernal pool leaves

The land was dry,

s2-quaking veins

in need of rain.

s3-phlox

The heavens weeped,

s4-funnel spider

and all rejoiced.

s5-hemlock

Small beads of life . . .

s6-pine beads

transformed the day.

s7-st johnswort

Some droplets clung . . .

s8-great lobelia

while others danced.

s9-mallow

Awakening earth . . .

s10-house reflection

with raindrop reflections.

  1. I’m always amazed at raindrops and the resulting optic events that occur as you look at, and through, them. This is really a nice collection! (plus I am really, really happy for the rain!!!).
