This one visits on a daily basis at least once. I love the final photo that demonstrates the direct registration, where the front foot packs down the snow and the back foot steps into the same spot.
I love it!!! Have a mom and young deer coming to my house everyday to be fed and sometimes more of them. Can sit in my sunroom and watch them every afternoon. Foxie I have not seen for quite a while. When I made peanut butter sandwiches they were not picked up. I have had that in other years too and first day of spring they come again. Always really love your blog. Ursula
Awww, thanks. And happy birthday to you! The fox is a daily visitor. The bird population is just again increasing after a rather quiet two months with only a few chickadees and the woodpeckers.
Great photos! I love seeing the fox. There are few left around here.

He’s a daily visitor, but this was the closest I’ve seen him come to the house.
